Worcester Greenstar 30 CDi wouldn't stay on when lit. The client confessed he hasn't had the boiler looked at since 2017. I'm not here to judge, I'm only here to provide solutions to challenges.
The boiler received full strip service on the heat exchanger to remove all the white granular debris between the fins of the heat exchanger.
Then a replacement spark electrode / ionisation probe kit, which had done well since the boiler was installed in 2007.
Condense trap was fully cleaned out and the CO2 figures were measured and adjusted inline with Worcester Bosch's guidance.
Boiler was restored to full operating performance once again.
Great cup of tea from the client and an old D reg 2.0 Ford Capri to gaze upon in the garage where the boiler is, which is rarer than hens teeth.
